For the 6th year in a row, the Royal Academy of Engineering has trusted us to be the Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation training provider!🎉
Cycle 11 (last year’s cohort) raised the highest amount of investment we’ve seen to date. While the funding landscape certainly played a role, we can also attribute the success to the Royal Academy’s refined recruitment strategy and to all training partners’ continuous efforts to improve training each Cycle.
The Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation has just kicked off its 12th iteration and we’re proud to be right in the middle of it.
The Royal Academy of Engineering has just announced its 2026 cohort: 16 innovators from 11 countries across sub-Saharan Africa. For the first time, the cohort includes innovators from Niger and Lesotho, a powerful sign of the programme’s growing continental reach.🌍
As Viridian, we’re honoured to continue our role as the implementation partner for the commercialisation and investment readiness programme – a partnership we’ve built with the Royal Academy of Engineering since 2021.🫱🏾🫲🏾
Over the next 7 months, we’ll work alongside all 16 businesses, helping them benchmark and strengthen their investment readiness through practical virtual and in-person training, 1:1 and group coaching, and tapping into a network of over 20 sector specific experts.
We are looking forward to witnessing your growth, Africa Prize cohort!
