Since 2020, Viridian’s programmes have helped African finance-ready entrepreneurs close deals, attract investment, and build the confidence to grow. We’ve supported businesses that have collectively raised over $9,000,000 while on our programmes. 

We have connected founders with the right investors, equipped angel investors to deploy capital more effectively, and strengthened the hubs that support entrepreneurs at the grassroots level.

Across all our programmes, 95% of participants have reported increased confidence and knowledge, reflected in a world-class NPS score of 85.

OUR WORK WITH INVESTORS

We capacitate and connect early-stage investors based in and/or from Africa to make investments in startups, therefore unlocking capital needed in the ecosystem.

Before joining the program, I knew I wanted to support African companies by providing assistance and funding, particularly for those who don't yet appeal to institutional funders. The AAA program has given me the insight, clarity, and confidence to structure these deals effectively and co-invest with others.

OUR WORK WITH HUBS

We capacitate and connect entrepreneur support organisations in South Africa and Africa so that a wide range of businesses and entrepreneurs can flourish.

The Launch League resources have had a significant positive impact on our entrepreneur bootcamps at Angels Resource Centres. By customising the content for rural South African contexts, including adapting case studies, translating key resources into Afrikaans, and converting the slide decks into practical printed manuals, we have been able to deliver the material in a way that is relatable, accessible and easy to implement.
